Q: Who is the "entrant"?
A: An "entrant" is the person who submits an entry for the China’s Most Successful Designs Awards.
Q: The deadline has passed but I would still like to compete. May I?
A: Late entry submissions will not be accepted unless the entrant has contacted and informed the organizing committee before hand and has received their consent. Late entry submissions will be charged a 5% fee to the total payment.
Q: Can I send more than one entry?
A: There is no limit to the number of submissions. Keep in mind that each entry will be charged a separate fee of RMB2,000.
Q: Can I enter a family of products as one entry?
A: Yes, you may submit a family of products as one entry. Make sure to include a picture of the entire series when you submit.
Q: Does the competition award a design in each category?
A: No, the categories listed are parameters for entry submission. The competition awards general winners so several entrants under the same category may receive an award. For example, last year, three submissions under the transportation category were awarded.
Q: Do I need to send the actual product?
A: No, we do not request entrants to submit the actual product for judging. The jury panel makes their decision based on the illustrations and the text of the entry provided during submission.
Q: How do I pay for late fees?
A: The entrant will be contacted by the organizers regarding what steps to take next and the payment process.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: At this time, we only accept payment through wire/bank transfer. Once you have submitted your entries, the organizing committee will e-mail you regarding our bank information and payment process.
Q: Do I have to pay before I enter?
A: You may register an account online and upload all of your entry materials in advance of payment. As long as the entry is submitted and the payment is received before the deadline, no late fees will be assessed.
Q: How will I know that you have received my submission payment?
A: After you have paid, the bank will notify us. The organizing committee will subsequently send a confirmation e-mail along with an invoice attached to verify that we have received your payment.
Q: How many certificates will I receive?
A: Each award winner will receive one certificate. If you would like to purchase additional certificates, please contact the organizing committee and issue a request.
Q: When will I receive my certificate?
A: The certificate will be mailed to you after the winners have been announced.
Q: When and for how long can the winner logo be used?
A: You can immediately use the winner logo when you receive your winning notification. The duration of use coincides to the life cycle of the award-winning entry.
