Designers and companies from around the world that actively create a positive impact and influence in the Chinese market are welcome to participate. Guided by the vision to improve business and society through successful Design. China’s Most Successful Design Awards categories for 2011 include design concepts, services and tangible goods.
Entry into this competition is a simple and easy five-step process!
The first step to apply for the 2010 China’s Most Successful Design Awards is to register an online account. Once completed, you will be able to access your online account throughout the application process using your created password and ID. Please complete all necessary applicant and company information within your registered account. In addition to basic company information, please provide a contact person for the duration of the competition.
Basic information including the product/design’s name should be completed here. Please also select the appropriate category for your entry. Here you may also provide any details regarding your product/design’s strategy, design process and it’s results. Please include descriptions in both Chinese and English.
Here you may upload 5 different images of your entry. Your images should meet the following requirements:
Picture Resolution: 300dpi Color Mode: CMYK
Image Size: horizontal picture width 21cm (at least 18cm)
vertical picture height 28cm (at least 20cm)
Picture Format : tif / jpg

Does the design have a well-defined target and strategy?
Why was the project initiated and what was the desired result or impact from the design?
Where there any challenges or problems to be solved?
Has the project been systematically managed during the design process? What methodology was used?
What resources were used? What was the total investment in the project (if applicable)?
When did the project start and how long did the project take?
Can the project results be measured - such as profit, sales, market, channel?
Has the design benefitted the community or society? If so, what is the benefit and who is the receiver?
Is the design original? Does the design create benefits? How well is the design executed? Does the design have any WOW factors?
Overall, does the design accomplish the original strategic objectives? Or did it even deliver beyond the defined strategy?

The grand ceremony will be held in the end of October 2011, showing achievements and honor of designers and companies to the media, the public and potential business partners.
All awarded entries will be published in 2011 China’s Most Successful Design Awards Yearbook, including images, information on designers and a description in both English and Chinese. This excellent publication serves as a reference tool all over the world and is therefore a great advertising instrument for each participant. All the award winners will receive two copies of 2011 China’s Most Successful Design Awards yearbook.
All awarded entries will be represented with images and a description in both English and Chinese on China’s Most Successful Design Awards website. This exhibition is not limited in duration.
There will be significant local and international media exposure for the winning designs. The MediaDepartment of the Organizing Committee will issue a press release, which will be available to download for publicity purposes. Winners of the China’s Most Successful Design Award will have the opportunity to be interviewed by our media partners and free or discount with the coverage.
Once the results have been announced, the China’s Most Successful Design Award Endorsement Mark will be available to all award winners. They will then have the official right to describe themselves as winners of the China’s Most Successful Design Award.
After the results are announced, every winner will receive a certificate as well as the trophy to honor their accomplishments.
